Zurich E-Prix – the Formula E Championship in Zurich
With the Julius Baer Zurich E-Prix, the successful racing series is coming to Switzerland.

As part of the 2018 ABB FIA Formula E Championship, 20 racing drivers will speed through the center of Zurich in their quiet, lightweight racing cars for the very first time in June 2018. Among them are well-known Formula E drivers such Nelson Piquet, Sébastien Buemi, Simona de Silvestro and Nick Heidfeld.
The circuit starts at Enge harbor, directly on the beautiful Lake Zurich. After a tight right bend, a long straight stretch leads right through the city center, giving the drivers the chance to hit the gas. Afterwards, it follows a zigzag route through the elegant banking district close to Paradeplatz before another right bend brings the cars back to the lake.
The “More than a race” event surrounding the Formula E race aims to inform the general public about the subject of electro-mobility. This thrilling race promises to be a real spectacle for all the family.
